The ULC Robotics PRX250K Keyhole Camera is a unique internal inspection system designed for visual assessment of live gas mains through conventional pits or low-cost keyholes. The system is suitable for internal inspection of 4- to 12-inch cast iron, steel and PE mains at pressures up to 60 psi. The PRX250K is the ideal tool for pinpointing the location of joints and service tees prior to keyhole repair or replacement.
Keyhole Access
The PRX250K no-blow keyhole camera launcher can be installed through standard 12- or 18-inch round or square keyholes and on mains up to 5 feet deep. The keyhole camera launcher was engineered with top mounted controls for simple and safe installation and operation. Using keyhole access fittings and tapping equipment from companies such as Omega Tools and Mueller Co., the PRX250K can provide fast, safe and cost-effective inspection, assessment, and location.
Safe, One-Man Operation
The PRX250K Camera System incorporates a motorized power feeder that gives the operator precise control over movement of the camera; with forward and reverse at variable speeds. This enables a single operator to control the camera as it travels through the pipe while at the same time viewing the monitor. By eliminating the need to push the rod by hand, a single operator can provide live main inspections without a second operator to manually push the camera.
Superior Image Quality
The System includes a rugged, high-resolution camera with ultra-bright LED lighting designed to operate in very low light level conditions. The camera includes a self-deploying centering device. Together these produce bright, sharp images of the circumference of the pipe for truly accurate visual inspections.

- Camera travel distance is 150 feet in each direction for a total maximum inspection distance of 300 feet in cast iron and steel mains; up to 500 feet in PE mains
- Monitor displays distance traveled footage and includes sun visors for good visibility in bright sunlight
- Access through pits or low-cost keyholes
